Morning, Planets, Moon and Montreal

COSMIC MESSAGE

On March 18, the day before the vernal equinox, dawn broke over Montreal. The Moon's waning crescent faces the rising Sun, above a dense constellation of urban lights. Skygazers could easily spot bright Jupiter just above the Moon, with a fainter Mars close by. Saturn, a favorite target for telescopes, is a pinprick of light below and to the left of the other planets.
