Venus and the Pleiades in April

Venus, our brilliant evening star, is about to wander across the face of the lovely Pleiades star cluster. This digital sky map shows Venus's path over the next few days. You can easily spot both the cluster and the planet with your naked eye, but binoculars will give you a better view. Venus appears to move because we are watching it from Earth, our fair planet.
