COSMIC MESSAGE
The Ghost Nebula, VdB 141, is a region of faint, starlight-reflecting clouds in the constellation Cepheus. These clouds are part of the Cepheus Flare molecular cloud complex, about 1,200 light-years away. The ghostly shapes are formed by dust reflecting the light of nearby stars. This area is a cold, dark region where new stars are beginning to form.
