COSMIC MESSAGE
These ghostly, comet-shaped clouds, IC 59 and IC 63, are about 600 light-years away in Cassiopeia. They are slowly disappearing under the influence of energetic radiation from the hot, luminous star Gamma Cas. Gamma Cas is physically located only three to four light-years from the nebulae.
