A Volcanic Great Conjunction
NASA APOD · Francisco Sojuel
COSMIC MESSAGE
The Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn was visible just after sunset, near where the sun had set. Because the two planets are nearly in a straight line with the sun and Earth, they appeared to set in the same direction from every location on Earth.
