Fifteen years ago, a spacesuit floated away from the International Space Station, pushed by the crew. This unneeded Russian Orlan spacesuit, dubbed SuitSat-1, was filled with old clothes and a faint radio transmitter. It orbited Earth twice before its signal weakened, then continued orbiting every 90 minutes until it burned up in the atmosphere.
