COSMIC MESSAGE
Mimas, one of Saturn's smaller moons, bears a massive impact crater named Herschel. This crater spans about 130 kilometers, and the impact nearly shattered the moon. Mimas has just enough mass to be spherical, but its gravity is weak enough to allow such a relatively large surface feature. The Cassini spacecraft captured this image.
