COSMIC MESSAGE
Three planets, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter, all appear in nearly the same direction in this image. They orbit the Sun in roughly the same plane, the ecliptic. From Earth, we see them confined to a single band in the sky. This alignment, captured earlier this month, is a coincidence, making for a striking view.
