COSMIC MESSAGE
The Tadpole Nebula, IC 410, is a region of active star formation about 12,000 light-years away in Auriga. This cloud of glowing gas, over 100 light-years across, is sculpted by strong stellar winds. The open star cluster NGC 1893, formed only 4 million years ago, provides the intense radiation that shapes these cosmic tadpoles. They are dense knots of gas and dust where new stars are being born.
