COSMIC MESSAGE
The supergiant star Gamma Cygni, also known as Sadr, marks the center of the Northern Cross asterism in the constellation Cygnus. This telescopic image, spanning about three degrees, shows the star just below the center. It includes emission nebula IC 1318 and open star clusters, all near the plane of our Milky Way galaxy.
