COSMIC MESSAGE
The Tulip Nebula, also known as Sh2-101, is a reddish glowing cloud of interstellar gas and dust. It is nearly 70 light-years across and blossoms about 8,000 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. Ultraviolet radiation from young, energetic stars at the edge of the nebula illuminates the gas.
