This image project from Sri Lanka compiles photographs of all twelve full moons of 2022. The first full moon of 2023 was visible on January 6th, opposite the Sun. The apparent size of each full moon varies depending on its distance from Earth, a phenomenon clearly shown across the year's cycle.
