Saturn's moon Hyperion has a strange, sponge-textured surface with odd craters. The Cassini spacecraft, which once orbited Saturn, took detailed images of Hyperion in 2005. This mosaic shows a remarkable world. The bottom of most craters contains an unknown dark reddish material, which appears similar to material found on other outer Solar System bodies.
