Winter constellations and the Milky Way arc across the sky over Point Reyes, California, in this nightscape. Sirius, the brightest star in Canis Major, shines prominently below the starry arc to the left. Orion's yellowish Betelgeuse, Aldebaran in Taurus, and the blue Pleiades star cluster are also visible between the Milky Way and the northwestern horizon near the center. This series of exposures captures nebulae within the Milky Way's glow.
