The Moon through the Arc de Triomphe
This image of the Moon through the Arc de Triomphe required careful planning. The photographer had to consider the angular size of the Moon and the Arc, as well as the precise timing. The Moon only appears centered inside the Arc for a brief period. This kind of shot combines astronomical timing with terrestrial landmarks.
