Arp 93: A Cosmic Embrace

COSMIC MESSAGE
Arp 93 is a system of two large galaxies, NGC 7285 and NGC 7284, merging about 200 million light-years away in Aquarius. Their bright cores are still separated, but a massive tidal stream, caused by their gravitational interaction, stretches over 200,000 light-years. This cosmic embrace shows the ongoing process of galactic evolution.
