M100 is a spiral galaxy like our own Milky Way, with over 100 billion stars. It sits 56 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices. This galaxy is one of the brightest members of the Virgo Cluster. A wide field of view captures M100 and slightly less bright galaxies.
