COSMIC MESSAGE
This nebula, IC 1795, is a star-forming region in Cassiopeia. Some observers see it as a fish head, but it is actually glowing gas and obscuring dust clouds. The colors in the image are a result of mapping narrowband emissions from oxygen, hydrogen, and sulfur atoms to blue, green, and red. This data was blended with images from broadband filters.
