The sky on
your birthday.
“Mount Etna Milky Way” is copyrighted by Gianni Tumino. NASA has permission to show it and we don't, so it isn't on this card.
See it on NASA's siteMount Etna, an active volcano on Earth, glows on the horizon beneath the Milky Way. The diffuse light from countless stars forms bands across the night sky. Dark dust clouds are visible along the galactic plane. Above, the bright stars Deneb, Vega, and Altair, known as the Summer Triangle, span across luminous star clouds and dark nebulae.
