Mount Etna Milky Way

Mount Etna, an active volcano on Earth, glows on the horizon beneath the Milky Way. The diffuse light from countless stars forms bands across the night sky. Dark dust clouds are visible along the galactic plane. Above, the bright stars Deneb, Vega, and Altair, known as the Summer Triangle, span across luminous star clouds and dark nebulae.
