These six panels show Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-Atlas moving away from Earth. The images were taken with the same camera and lens from California. On October 12, the comet was near its closest approach, about 70 million kilometers away. Its bright coma and long dust tail were close to the setting Sun.
