Driveway Analemma

This unusual analemma does not show the Sun directly. Instead, it was created by marking the shadow of a house edge in a driveway at the same time each clear day over a year. An analemma is a composite of sky images taken at the same time and from the same place over a year. The Sun makes a figure eight in the sky, as shown by the shadows here.
