Stereo Jupiter near Opposition

Jupiter, the solar system's largest planet, is captured here in sharp detail from a rooftop telescope in Singapore. We see its distinct dark belts and light zones, which are atmospheric bands, along with several white oval storms. The Great Red Spot, a colossal storm larger than Earth, is also prominent, continuing its centuries-long swirl in Jupiter's southern hemisphere.
