COSMIC MESSAGE

The Great Nebula in Orion, also called M42, is a starbirth region about 1,500 light-years away. It is probably the most famous of all astronomical nebulae, and you can see it with your unaided eye. Glowing gas surrounds hot young stars at the edge of an immense interstellar molecular cloud.
