A Total Lunar Eclipse Over Uruguay
A total lunar eclipse was captured in a time-lapse video from Uruguay. During this event, the Earth moved between the Moon and the Sun, causing the Moon to fade dramatically. The Moon never goes completely dark because Earth's atmosphere refracts some sunlight. This video shows the Moon's gradual dimming and reddening as it passed through Earth's shadow.
