Moon Near the Edge

The Moon is often seen at night, but it spends nearly as much time in our daytime skies. In bright daylight, the lunar disk appears paler and can be harder to spot. It still cycles through its phases, reflecting sunlight as it orbits Earth, and is easiest to see when a large portion is illuminated.
