COSMIC MESSAGE
Comets C/2025 K1 ATLAS and C/2025 R2 SWAN appeared close together by chance in the sky last week, as seen from Reunion Island. Fainter Comet ATLAS is nearing the Sun and is expected to be brightest in early October, though likely only visible with long camera exposures. The brighter Comet SWAN25B is also making its passage, offering a rare opportunity to observe two comets in a single field of view.
