Orion's Treasures over Snowy Mountains
Orion's familiar stars and nebulas rise over the snowy Tatra Mountains in Poland. This wide-field image captures the beauty of both Earth and our galaxy. The Great Orion Nebula, a vast stellar nursery, is visible even to the unaided eye. It is anchored by Orion's bright belt stars, shining above the frozen valley.
