Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, or Comet CG, seen up close by the Rosetta spacecraft. Jets of gas and dust stream off the comet's two lobes as it nears the Sun, forming its tail. Rosetta orbited Comet CG from 2014 to 2016, giving us an unprecedented view of how comets evaporate.
