COSMIC MESSAGE
M66 is a spiral galaxy in the Leo Triplet, a group of three galaxies. Unlike most spiral galaxies, M66 has asymmetric arms. This distortion is likely caused by the gravitational pull of its neighbor, M65. You can see intricate dust lanes intertwined with bright stars in its spiral arms.
