Ganymede: A Really Groovy Moon

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Ganymede's surface is a jumbled mess of shifting ice sheets. These movements cause high ridges, deep furrows, and parallel grooves across the moon. The Galileo spacecraft captured this image, showing a large impact crater near the bottom. The impact also created strange dark ejecta to the crater's right.
