COSMIC MESSAGE
This image is an artistic representation of data from a supermassive black hole in galaxy M84. Hubble's Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS) recorded the data. Near black holes, gravity is so strong that even light cannot escape. However, a black hole's presence can be revealed by observing matter falling into it, which speeds up drastically.
