The Hydra Cluster of Galaxies, also known as Abell 1060, contains over 100 bright galaxies. Galaxy clusters are the largest gravitationally bound structures in the universe. In this image, most bright, extended objects are galaxies within the cluster. Diffraction crosses are centered on unrelated foreground stars.
