COSMIC MESSAGE
The colors in this nebulosity in Sagittarius, NGC 6589 and NGC 6590, are caused by gas and dust. The blue color near the bright stars is from reflection off interstellar dust. The red color farther from the bright stars is from glowing hydrogen gas, energized by the stars' radiation.
