COSMIC MESSAGE
This is a composite image of Europe at night, made from over 200 satellite pictures. The lights of cities clearly mark out continental shapes, with outlines artificially drawn in yellow. Satellites from the USAF Defense Meteorological Satellite Program collected these scans. These satellites continue to help us understand and predict weather patterns.
