COSMIC MESSAGE

Grab your red and blue glasses for this stereo picture of Saturn. The image is made from two pictures taken weeks apart by the Voyager 2 spacecraft in August 1981. Voyager 2 traveled at about 35,000 miles per hour, and its changing viewpoint created this exaggerated stereo effect. Saturn is the second largest planet in the Solar System, known for its spectacular ring system.
