COSMIC MESSAGE

The Witch Head Nebula, formally known as IC 2118, is a reflection nebula associated with the bright star Rigel in Orion. The nebula glows by light reflected from Rigel, which is located just off to the right of this image. Fine dust in the nebula reflects Rigel's blue light, causing the nebula to appear blue.
