Disorder in Stephan's Quintet

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Stephan's Quintet is a group of five galaxies, but not all are at the same distance. Four of them have similar redshifts, meaning they are roughly the same distance from us. The bluish spiral galaxy, however, has a smaller redshift, indicating it's much closer. It just happens to be in our line of sight to the others.
