COSMIC MESSAGE
M13, also known as the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, is a colossal home to over 100,000 stars. It spans more than 150 light-years and is over 12 billion years old. In 1974, a radio message about Earth was sent towards M13 from the Arecibo Observatory. This cluster is easily visible with binoculars and is a popular target for skygazers.
