COSMIC MESSAGE
The Geminid meteor shower peaked earlier this month, featuring up to 140 meteors per hour. Geminid meteors appear to streak away from the constellation Gemini, as shown in this all-sky photograph. Their origin is thought to be small bits broken off the asteroid 3200 Phaetheon.
