This false-color infrared image shows dust streaming from a rotating star system, creating a pinwheel pattern. Astronomers used the Keck I telescope to observe the Wolf-Rayet star WR 104. Wolf-Rayet stars are massive and very hot, with intense light driving material away from them, often on the brink of a supernova.
