The Tarantula Nebula, also known as 30 Doradus, is a massive star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud. It contains some of the most massive and luminous stars known. This nebula is a stellar nursery, actively creating new stars from vast clouds of gas and dust. It sits about 160,000 light-years away from Earth.
