NGC 7635: The Bubble Nebula

The Bubble Nebula, NGC 7635, is a vast space bubble created by a massive, bright blue star. This star emits a fast stellar wind of ionized gas, pushing surrounding sparse gas into a glowing shell. The Bubble Nebula is the smallest of three bubbles surrounding the massive star BD+602522, part of a gigantic bubble network known as S162.
