COSMIC MESSAGE
This image from the SOlar and Heliospheric Observatory, SOHO, captures a variety of celestial events. In the foreground, a coronal mass ejection, a bubble of hot plasma, blasts away from the Sun. Beyond it, the bright stars of the Pleiades are visible. Four of the five naked-eye planets also appear, thanks to a planetary alignment.
