Kemble's Cascade is a picturesque chain of about 20 stars in the constellation Camelopardalis. It stretches over five times the width of a full moon. This asterism, made popular by Lucian Kemble, appears as a string only from our perspective in the Milky Way galaxy. This photograph was taken with a small telescope in New Mexico. The brightest star in the cascade is about magnitude 5.
