COSMIC MESSAGE
The Moon appears to be the same size, whether it is near the horizon or high in the sky. This is the Moon Illusion, and its cause is still being debated. One explanation is that foreground objects make a horizon Moon seem farther away. The mind then interprets more distant objects as wider.
