Comet Ikeya-Zhang, discovered in 2002, sweeps across the sky with a yellowish dust tail and a blue ion tail. This view, captured from Colorado, shows the comet near the horizon in Andromeda. To its left, the bright star Mirach is visible. Comets like Ikeya-Zhang are remnants from the early solar system.
