COSMIC MESSAGE
Tethys is one of Saturn's larger moons, composed almost entirely of water ice. Both Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecraft visited Tethys in the early 1980s. It features a massive impact crater that nearly encircles the moon. This suggests that Tethys was not completely frozen when the impact occurred.
