COSMIC MESSAGE
This panoramic, three-hour exposure from Kenya shows star trails arcing across the African night sky. The Earth's rotation causes the stars to appear to move, creating these trails. The South Celestial Pole is visible on the left, and the North Celestial Pole on the far right, with stars near the Celestial Equator leaving straight paths.
