COSMIC MESSAGE
This mosaic shows the region around the Great Nebula in Orion. The lower part of the image is dominated by the reddish emission nebula M42. Blue reflection nebulae, including NGC 1977, are visible near the top. The clouds of Orion are strewn with dust lanes and dark nebulae, surrounding stellar nurseries.
